Over the years I have had many people ask me how I got started hosting these craft nights. The real answer is MY MOTHER. When I was a little girl I loved to craft with my mom. She is very creative and passed that down to me. She taught me how to cross stitch, sew, knit, use a band saw, but most importantly she taught me to be independent and believe in my abilities. I spent many hours by her side helping her paint and create crafts to sell in a local craft shop to pay for my dance classes. I have 4 siblings, but the majority of the money was so I could keep dancing. She sacrificed hours, but in the process instilled in me the deep satisfaction and joy that comes from creating something beautiful out of mere supplies. Still today, crafting it is one of our favorite things to do together. When ever we see each other we ALWAYS make a project. She calls me from the hobby lobby parking lot weekly! So in honor of the upcoming Mother's Day and in hopes of you being able to share a special experience with your mothers and daughters that I have with mine...I present Mother, Daughter craft night.
IF YOU DON'T HAVE A MOTHER OR A DAUGHTER TO BRING, NOT TO WORRY, YOU CAN BARROW ONE OF MINE!! ALL ARE WELCOME TO COME IT IS NOT A REQUIREMENT.
Here is how it works!
1. You submit your pre-order to me by the deadline date! SATURDAY, APRIL 15TH
2. You can order as many projects as you like
3. You can come either day or both depending on what works for your schedule. PLEASE INDICATE WHICH DAY YOU WILL ATTEND WHEN YOU ORDER. SO I CAN MAKE SURE THERE IS A SEAT FOR EVERYONE!
*I provide all the materials to make the projects you see below ie. paint, paper, wood etc. YOU get to come and make the projects. Believe me, you will feel GREAT when your project is complete and YOU made it! I try and take good pictures, but sometimes its hard to tell the size, color etc. from a picture. And as many of you learned last month, the crafts are SO MUCH cuter in person. If you want to stop by to see the projects before you decide, I will be available from 1:30-4:30 FRIDAY the 14th. You can just drop by my house.
How to order... There are two ways to place your order.
1. Simply comment on the picture of project you want to order. I will like your comment so you will know I received your order
